Prospective membership registration procedure
Since professional registration does not apply to this category, no assessment is conducted by the Review Committee. Once we have received your application, it will be processed as soon as possible.
Registration procedure for the VPMW, VIG, Coach Register and OT Register
Once we have received your digital registration, we will process it as soon as possible. This is usually within two weeks, but it may take longer during holiday periods or times of extreme busyness.
For registration in the OT Register and the VPMW and VIG professional groups, the assessment fees must be paid in advance. This is done via iDEAL payment. We will only be notified to process/assess your registration request after receipt of your payment.
During the assessment procedure, we check whether your file is complete and whether you have submitted the correct documents. The assessment committee examines, among other things, the issued reference statements, your registration with the Chamber of Commerce, and your website. If necessary, the committee may ask you additional questions, usually by email. Ultimately, it is the assessment committee that makes the final decision on whether membership of the NFG is possible for you.
Upon a positive assessment, you will receive the NFG welcome letter by email, including your registration number and your NFG license. Should the assessment committee unexpectedly reject your application, you will receive an explanation regarding this by email. The assessment fees and costs for applying for the Certificate of Conduct (VOG) are not refunded by the NFG.

General Terms and Conditions and umbrella organization

Applying for an AGB code and registration with an umbrella organization is only possible for registered members who are registered in the VPMW or VIG professional group, and therefore NOT for those registered in the Coach Register and OTR.

General Data Management Healthcare Providers (AGB-Zorgverleners) is a register in which data of healthcare providers in the Netherlands are recorded. This data is provided with a unique code, the AGB code. All VIG and VPMW members are required, after registration with the NFG, to to apply for AGB code* (if they do not yet have one) and to be stated on invoices. Health insurers will not pay out if a healthcare professional does not have an AGB code.

After you have received an AGB code, you can register with the umbrella organization to be eligible for reimbursements from VGZ. Registration with the umbrella organization always takes place via the NFG. A request for registration with the umbrella organization must by email to be submitted to the NFG secretariat. Always include your AGB code in this email (both your personal AGB code and that of your practice) or, better yet, attach the Vektis email containing these codes.

Only NFG register members registered in these professional groups are eligible for an AGB code. Proof of registration must be submitted. The NFG welcome letter explains how to apply for the AGB code. If you already have an AGB code, NFG accreditation must always be added to it. We will inform you about this in our welcome email.
